Matrix

The Winter Springs Matrix Program was born out of a desire to give Winter Springs boys an opportunity to play baseball at a more competitive level while still being part of the Winter Springs Baseball Babe Ruth (WSBR) Program. The Matrix program is sponsored by Winter Springs Youth Sports who provide the necessary insurance and along with the City of Winter Springs access to the fields for games and practice times. 

The roster size is typically from 10-12 players and is set at the discretion of the Matrix Manager. The Matrix season is designed to run from August thru May and end when All-Star participation begins.

Tryouts may be held in Aug-Sept and/or Jan-Feb at the discretion of the Matrix Manager, based on the team’s needs. Matrix Baseball is not designed to take the place of our Rec-Ball program but as an addition to it. 

The current fee is $200 yearly and includes a full uniform. Teams are responsible for their own fundraising in order to keep any potential additional costs to a minimum.
